Thank you to everyone who came to hear Boun, the young lady from Cambodia who received a Christmas shoebox when she was about 10 years old, give her testimony last week. Her story about her life, how she came to receive a shoebox, and most importantly, her acceptance of Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior, was sad and funny, as she touched all of our hearts. It was wonderful to listen to an actual recipient of a shoebox. She said her favorite gifts in her box were flip-flops and a stuffed animal.
The cost of shipping one shoebox is $9.00. Our goal is to send 500 shoeboxes. One sweet lady told me she is praying for us to send 600 boxes! Stay tuned for what God will do! If we reach 500 shoeboxes, shipping will cost $4,500.00. Thanks to generous contributions from you and generous contributions from the VBS children, we have $987.47 so far. We need $3,512,53 by November 18th. Please pray for us to meet this goal.
